Please send your idea submission with the signed Outside Submission

Note: It is our experience that for legal reasons, most prospective
customers within our extensive network are unwilling to review ideas
that are not already patented, or at minimum, patent pending.
Also, please note that any idea submitted without an accompanying
Outside Submission Agreement will be considered a non-confidential
idea submission with all rights waived, which bfs innovations Inc.
is free to use as it deems appropriate, and may destroy the ability
to obtain a patent on your idea.

Q1: I have a technology that I'd like to license to a large
company. What should I do?
A1:
Is your technology patented? The first thing you should do
is ensure that your technology is protected. A patent will
enable you to share your technology with others, without undue
concern that they will copy it. A good patent attorney can assist
you with a patent search (to ensure that your technology doesn't
infringe on another's patent), and to craft a patent that offers you
suitable protection.
Frankly, large companies are not seeking lawsuits from inventors who
contend that their idea was "stolen". So, none will review your
technology without either an existing patent (or application), or a
waiver from you that you will not pursue legal action against them
for any reason associated with their review of your technology.
After you've protected your technology, consider giving us a call to
discuss your interests.

Q2: Companies
are increasingly looking to external sources to supply technology.
As a technology provider, I should be able to approach them myself.
Why do I need you?
A2: Today, more companies are embracing external innovation as an
element in their new product strategy. Many large companies are
beginning to consider external submissions if these represent good
opportunities that they would otherwise have to totally develop by
themselves.
Our
credibility and standing with many of these companies affords us
access to senior level influencers and decision makers that you may
not be able to reach by yourself. Or, if you are able to reach
them, it may take you a lot longer to do so, along with considerable
effort investment. In brief, part of our value-added is our ability
to help compress deal cycle timing. Most people agree that "time is
money". What's yours' worth?

Q3: You
do interesting work, but I'm not sure of how best to apply your
skills. Any suggestions?
A3: That you are considering us as a resource means that we can
likely be of service. The simplest answer is to let us know of your
interest in having an exploratory conversation. We should be able
to quickly ascertain whether there's opportunity for us to be of
assistance.
